Second Empire home in Lincoln Park Project
About This Project:
This stunning, Second Empire style Lincoln Park home built in 2013 sits on a 38' wide lot in a prime location. LIME was contracted for a number of scopes of work as the owner was preparing to sell.
The primary scope was a restoration of the front door. To accomplish this, we started by sanding the door down to bare wood. We then stained the door with Old Masters Wiping Stain in Rich Mahogany and finished with a clear coat of spar urethane in semi-gloss.
Other projects we helped the owner with were:
-
Handrails front and rear and the door handles were spot primed with rust inhibiting primer and top coated with Sher-Cryl semi-gloss in SW6991 Black Magic
-
The pergola and privacy walls of the garage roof deck were stained with Sherwin-Williams Woodscapes in SW3044 Ranchero Red
-
Stairs leading to the roof deck were stained with Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck, also in Ranchero Red (deck boards were Trex)
A great project for a wonderful owner!
